Buses run frequently during peak periods (7am – 9.30am and 3pm – 6.30pm), typically every 10 – 15 minutes. During off-peak periods buses can run at 15 – 30 minutes intervals. It is best to check a schedule for the approximate arrival time of the bus you wish to catch so that you know when to arrive at your stop.Most buses connect with the SkyTrain mass transit system in Vancouver. There are currently two routes (Expo Line runs West/East serving Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey. Millennium Line runs West/East serving East Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster). A third line (Canada Line running North/South serving YVR Airport, Richmond, Vancouver) is due to be completed in 2009. All trains run more frequently (3 – 5 minutes) at peak times, and less frequently (7 –
12 minutes) during off-peak periods.
