Driving is easy in Vancouver and its many surrounding suburbs.  Rental cars are relatively inexpensive and drivers can choose from a variety of different car rental companies.  Drivers will need to hold a valid drivers license, a major credit card, and should be familiar with driving on the left side of the vehicle.

From the Airport:

1. Depart the airport (YVR) and follow the road onto Grant McConachie Way.
2. Move into the right-hand lane and take the exit marked: City Centre/Granville Street.
3. Follow Granville Street for approximately 8 kilometres.
4. Take the first right-hand exit (Seymour Street).
5. Turn left at the 6th street (Robson Street).
6. Turn right at the 4th street (Burrard Street).
7. Turn left at the first light (Alberni Street).
8. The hotel's driveway entrance is located off Alberni Street, 1 ½ blocks down the street.  Follow the signs to Hotel Lobby/Registration.

Westbound From Highway #1 (Trans-Canada):

1. Take the 1st Avenue Exit (Exit #27).
2. Turn LEFT onto 1st Avenue.
3. Follow 1st Avenue (turns into Terminal Street) until you reach Quebec Street.
4. Follow Quebec (turns into Expo Blvd).  Turn right on Smithe.
5. Turn right at the 10th street (Burrard Street).
6. Turn left at Alberni Street.
7. The hotel's driveway entrance is located off Alberni Street, 1 ½ blocks down the street.  Follow the signs to Hotel Lobby/Registration.

Southbound from Highway #99 (From Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminals & Whistler):

1. Take the Taylor Way (Exit #14).
2. Turn right at the end of the off-ramp.
3. Follow down the hill and turn left onto Marine Drive.
4. Take the on-ramp for the Lions Gate Bridge on your right.
5. After the Lions Gate Bridge, follow along Georgia Street and turn right at Thurlow Street.
6. Turn right at the 1st light (Alberni Street).
7. The hotel's driveway entrance is located off Alberni Street, 1 ½ blocks down the street.  Follow the signs to Hotel Lobby/Registration.
   

From Highway #99 (Tsawassen Ferry Terminal/Victoria): 

1. Follow Highway 17 until you reach Highway #99 Northbound.
2. The Highway turns into Oak Street.
3. Follow Oak Street North until 25th Avenue/King Edward Avenue, turn left onto 25th Avenue/King Edward Avenue.
4. Turn right at Granville Street.
5. Take the first right-hand exit (Seymour Street).
6. Turn left at the 6th street (Robson Street).
7. Turn right at the 4th street (Burrard Street).
8. Turn left at the first light (Alberni Street).
9. The hotel's driveway entrance is located off Alberni Street, 1 ½ blocks down the street.  Follow the signs to Hotel Lobby/Registration.
   

From Highway #99 (United States/I-5):

1. After the border, travel North on Highway 99.
2. The Highway will turn into Oak Street.
