Built in 1896 as the home of Prince Roland Bonaparte - a grandnephew of Napoleon Bonaparte - the Shangri-La Hotel, Paris is situated in the elegant 16th arrondissement of Paris, adjacent to the Trocadéro.  Located amidst one of the highest concentrations of museums in Europe, this historic residence enjoys breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower and Seine River, Les Invalides, the Louvre and Montmartre.

In early December 2010 will see Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts continuing this remarkable building's heritage, and welcoming the world to re-discover a truly exceptional French home. Restored by the prominent architect Richard Martinet, the plush interiors are the realization of renowned interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon.
