Amouage, the most valuable perfume in the world, is made in Oman. It can be purchased in many of the perfume shops in Muscat.

Oman is also famous for its traditional handicrafts and metalwork, particularly using silver. The Omani khanjar, a curved dagger, is both the national symbol of Oman and a testimony to the skill of the country's silversmiths.
