Kozan Teppan-yaki has separate smoking and non-smoking areas.

Kozan’s interior echoes the minimalist aesthetics of a classical Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant with an unconventional architectural design and finishes to give it a modern edge.

"Teppanyaki" is a style of cooking in which the chef prepares various sea foods, cuts of beef, chicken and fresh vegetables in front of the customer and cooks by grilling on a large iron hotplate called a "Teppan". In Japan "yaki" refers to ingredients that have been grilled, hence Teppanyaki.  Kozan, meaning mountain in Japanese, is expressed in the logo as a calligraphic symbol of Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia’s highest mountain and Sabah’s most recognizable icon.
