Enter the world of Imperial China, when the Chinese emperors lived in the famed Forbidden City in Peking. During the evening, be invited to dine in the Emperors’ Gallery, surrounded by large portraits of past rulers and their Empresses. The richness of the portraits is echoed in the table decoration, right down to the jade napkin holders.
On certain nights, the Imperial banquets have specialised entertainers such as Face Changers, Acrobats, Musicians and Chinese Opera Singers. This event comes with all the trappings – large Imperial portraits, temple lions, stage decoration, tablecloths, seat-covers and napkins as well as designs for centrepieces as required. Waiting staff are dressed in Imperial robes.
