BusesLocal buses run on a regular schedule and service volumes are adjusted on Fridays and public holidays in relation to the passenger demand. Fares are usually anywhere from between AED 1 and AED 4.50 depending on your destination. There are no cash transactions for bus fares and passengers would need a Nol Card (electronic smart card) with enough credit for the journey. Dubai Metro is the fastest way to get around Dubai. It currently serves 47 stations and is inexpensive.
