Taxis are plentiful, inexpensive, and easy to find either driving around town, or parked in front of major hotels and malls. The basic fare is RMB10 (approximately US$1.20) for the first three kilometres and RMB2 (US$0.24) for each subsequent kilometre. Fares may be higher in the city centre due to traffic congestion.
