Ms. Chen rejoined the company in 2004 as vice president - marketing, projects.  She was in charge of marketing functions of new hotel projects to ensure successful openings.  Ms. Chen held several senior sales and marketing positions with Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza, Taipei from 1993 to 2000.  She began her career in catering, banquet and social sales and co-ordination.
