Ms. Cheah was executive assistant manager - rooms at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong and held hotel manager positions at Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai and Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing. She joined Shangri-La in 1994. Before joining Shangri-La, she held a wide variety of operational posts over nine years with a leading international hotel group in her home country of Singapore.
