In addition to his vice president position, Mr. Sekercioglu is also the general manager of Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai. Since joining Shangri-La in 1994, Mr. Sekercioglu has held general manager posts in Singapore, Bangkok (where he was also area manager), China, Malaysia and Indonesia. He began his 25-year hospitality industry career in food and beverage, with posts in his native Turkey, Hong Kong, the USA, Switzerland, France and the UK.
