Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts announced the sales forces from 51 Shangri-La hotels around the globe and the group’s senior management executives have embarked on the “2014 China Sales Mission”, which kicks off in Beijing on 11 August and will conclude in Hangzhou on 22 August 2014.
Designed to update corporate, leisure, MICE and travel trade on Shangri-La’s latest developments, the sales mission covers five cities across China with an anticipated attendance of 1,300 clients.
Shangri-La’s 2014 China Sales Mission, covering Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Hangzhou, will also have travel marts as part of the event agenda for travel buyers and trade partners to meet with the participating hoteliers. On this special occasion, all participating 51 hotels will present an exclusive offer to MICE organisers attending the mini travel marts. The offer features a RMB2,000 cash reward coupon for a new MICE group inquiry confirmed and materialised with a minimum of 40 room nights, and a reward of up to 10 coupons per group for bookings made during the sales mission and materialised before 28 February 2015. The coupon is valid at all Shangri-La hotels until end of June 2015.
Apart from promoting the group’s newest landmark openings in Lhasa and London this year, the sales mission will also introduce the group’s hotel projects currently under development. The projects include hotels scheduled to open in the second half of the year in Qinghuangdao, Nanjin and Sanya, where the group’s first resort in China will open. Both mainland China and overseas will see more new Shangri-La properties.
In addition to showcasing each hotel, the Shangri-La China Sales Mission will introduce myriad offers from individual properties and the group designed for business and leisure clients. The group’s new programmes, such as China National Day Package, Suite Indulgence and Signature Weddings, offer better value to meet customers’ different needs.
