Throughout October, Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney will showcase four exclusive events to celebrate the best in food and culture for the annual Crave Sydney International Food Festival.
Altitude Restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney will open its doors for Friday lunch for four weeks only with a special offer featuring Red Wine Braised Rangers Valley Beef Brisket with a glass of wine or beer for patrons to enjoy 36 levels above the harbour.
This will also be the first year Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney will host a week-long food festival to celebrate the culture and cuisine of the Philippines. The festival will feature the unique flavours of Filipino food for lunch and dinner in the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Café Mix.
The Philippine Food Week festival will commence on 20 October 2012 until 28 October with a full buffet for patrons to enjoy, with delicacies prepared by Executive Sous Chef Genaro Sanchez Del Prado and Chef Dante Jr Sam, from sister property Makati Shangri-La, Manila. Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney in partnership with the Philippine Department of Tourism and Philippine Airlines will also give away a trip for two to the Philippines, with accommodation at Makati Shangri La, Manila.
Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney will also host two events for in-house guests and local residents with a sweet tooth, two annual favourites – Sugar Hit Afternoon Tea and Wickedly Sweet Chocolate High Tea. These events will run daily throughout October and feature delicacies such as Chocolate Jaffa Cake, Earl Grey Bonbons and Homemade Macaroons from Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney’s talented team of pastry chefs.
