Manila, 2 October 2013 – Inagiku, the award-winning Japanese restaurant at Makati Shangri-La, Manila presents Hokkaido Specialties of Japan, featuring exquisite creations by Executive Japanese Chef Wataru Hikawa, available from October 15 to November 30 2013.
Inagiku’s Hokkaido Specialties feature an assortment of live shell seafood including scallop, surf shell and sea urchin plus Otaru Kaminabe (boiled assorted seafood in a paper pot), Ginmutsu Misoyaki (grilled blue fish with miso paste) and Age Shake Sapporo (deep-fried salmon, Sapporo style).
Hokkaido is the northernmost island of Japan, which attracts large amounts of tourists to get a taste of the freshest seafood. Chef Hikawa takes pride in selecting a variety of fresh seafood and incorporating his own personal touch to each ingredient. The menu will display a vast array of seafood dishes, including Taraba crab in a variation of serving styles, including steamed, charcoal-grilled, seasoned with a vinegar-based dressing and served with steamed egg custard.
The Hokkaido Specialties of Japan is available daily for lunch and dinner for a limited time. Prices start at P900.
