The BLOCK, Kerry’s own butcher shop presents Turkey To Go for guests who prefer to stage their own private party. The package includes whole fire-roasted turkey, honey roasted sweet and baby potatoes, festive cookies, mince pies and more. Turkey A La Carte is available from RMB880 net and Turkey Hamper is available from RMB1,180 net from 18 November to 26 December 2013. A three-day advance reservation is required to better prepare the feast for guests. Delivery service is also available.
The festive season starts with the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the hotel lobby on 29 November 2013. Kerry’s Christmas tree (a 4.2-metre fibre-optic tree), as Shanghai’s largest “Tree of Light’, will be glowing with the atmosphere of a Christmas. Throughout the whole festive season, guests can purchase a crystal ball on-site to decorate their own Christmas tree. The proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University to support children who are suffering from leukaemia.
The Lounge will once again present the Teddy Bear Afternoon Tea Party on 30 November and 7 December 2013. Children can bring their parents along to the party and donate a new Teddy Bear to underprivileged children. A live festive performance is prepared for both dates and the Afternoon Tea Set is priced at RMB68* per person.
The hotel has also prepared everything that guests will need for an amazing Christmas. The MEAT features a four-course celebratory dinner from 20 through 26 December 2013. Priced at RMB688* per person, guests can enjoy a Seafood Platter, Chestnut Cappuccino and Duck Liver, Cherry Wood-Roasted Turkey Breast, Christmas Pudding and “Big Boy and Girl” Gingerbread Cookies.
The COOK features a Christmas Eve buffet dinner, as well as a brunch and buffet dinner on the 25th, Christmas Day. The buffets feature both traditional Christmas dishes and a selection of international and Asian favourites. For guests looking for an ideal venue to celebrate the New Year you begin with a chic dinner at The MEAT with a six-course celebratory dinner at RMB988* per person and includes Seafood Platter, Pan-Fried Goose Liver with Caramelised Apple, Truffle Cappuccino, Cherry Wood-Grilled Sirloin Steak and Grilled King Prawn with Herbs Butter. A ticket to The BREW party is also included.
Alternatively, guests can enjoy the New Year’s Eve buffet dinner at The COOK for RMB488 net per person. Following the dinner, head down for the First Night Party at The BREW and enjoy free-flow champagne, wine, beer and cocktails, a food market as well as live entertainment.
