Because our coral gardens breathe life
In line with our commitment to biodiversity conservation, the group launched SANCTUARY, Shangri-La's Care for Nature Project.
At Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Spa, Yanuca, Fiji, we have the Reef Care Project which aims to propagate and revive the much-coveted coral life of the Fijian islands. It has recently launched the coral gardens project and Shangri-La's Marine Education Centre, which is open to both guests and local students who are interested in learning about marine conservation and directly partaking in meaningful activities such as fish house building. Fish houses help preserve and grow the fragile coral reef ecosystem. For more information, please enquire at the Shangri-La Marine Education Centre.
