We can only conserve what we know and understand
At Traders Hotel, Beijing we have the Care for Water Project, which supports wetland conservation and education programmes as well as reducing the hotel's water footprint.
As one of the largest cities in China, Beijing suffers from both drought and water shortage. We hope that through our education and conservation efforts, more people realise the vital need to preserve precious water resources and are inspired to do the same in the their daily lives.
Colleagues have organised beach-cleaning activities during summer-outings and the hotel has helped raise water education funding through charity moon cake sales.
