The Noida Deaf Society (NDS), committed to reintegrating the hearing
impaired into mainstream society through life skills and children’s education
has been working modestly with the hotel since 2010.
A regular batch of 10 students are taken in and are trained by a team
operational division heads on basic hospitality skills in Concierge, Laundry,
Housekeeping and Security. The modules run for 2-3 months before the students
commence their internship at the hotel.
The first batch of students started in July 2011 and should be
employable in all other hotels within the National Capital Region by the end of
2011.
