Romain Renard will conduct a unique dessert
tapas cooking class exclusively for couples during the Valentine’s season
called Temptation for Two on February
15 and 22, 2014 at 1 pm.
For Two will have a select number of participants in the
intimate foyer of the new Isabela Ballroom, which has its own dedicated kitchen
studio in a residential setting. Chef Renard has carefully planned a program where
each participating couple can create innovative desserts with unusual and
exciting flavor combinations, such as Basil Panna cotta with green apple and
fennel salad, chocolate mousse with Maltesers and Mikado, and a chocolate
cremeux with olive oil on toasted bread and sea salt.
Chef Renard’s 20 years of
patisserie experience in the kitchens of Michelin-rated restaurants and
five-star hotels from around the world has made him a pastry master and he
promises that the class will be casual and fun, as well as highly informative.
“It will be like welcoming them all into my kitchen at home,” states Chef
Renard. “What our guests can expect to take away from this
class is that creating a dessert together is just as enjoyable as eating it. It
doesn’t matter if you’re husband and wife, or mother and daughter, or just
friends, what’s important is that you share the experience with someone you
