Credit/Accounts Receivable/Income Audit/ General Cashier

Course Objectives / Description

The CFM module I is a Ten-day institutional program offered at the Shangri-La Academy campus. Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to do the following:

  • Understand functions of Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, General Cashier and relevant process on revenue cycle.
  • Apply methodology of Income Audit on revenue and cash receipt
  • Apply methodology of internal control on revenue cycle
  • Prepare report and accounting journal of credit, account receivable, income audit and general cashier

Course Content

  1. Explain Role and Job Duties of Credit, AR,  Income Audit and General Cashier staffs
  2. Describe concept of cashiering, revenue audit method and control point related to the framework of internal control
  3. Illustrate on how to perform revenue audit
  4. Explain how to set up General Cashier room, establish  of control process and handle cash receipt, billing, posting payment to Account Receivable modules
  5. Explain the SLIM P & P in preparation of SLIM hotel financial statements.
  6. Improve English communication skill

  • Full time level 3 or, level 4 staff  currently working in the Finance Division for operating hotels or pre-opening hotels.
