Taxis

Taxis in Changzhou are metered. The basic charge is RMB 9 for the first 3 kilometers, then RMB 1.80 per kilometre thereafter.

Surcharges apply after 11pm, and can raise your total fare by approximately 40%.

 

Public Transit

Trains offer a reliable, efficient and scenic way of travelling within China.

You may travel in one of four classes: Soft Seat or Soft Sleeper with air-condition; and the Hard Seat or Hard Sleeper.

Changzhou sits in the middle of Shanghai-Nanjing High-Speed Train Line and also on the way of Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Train Line.

Bus
Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Changzhou opened on January 1, 2008, and has over 100 routes, covering most urban areas of Changzhou. BRT is very convenient for travellers and also the citizens.
