Earth Hour is a global WWF climate change initiative for energy conservation. Traders Upper East Hotel, Beijing has actively participated in Earth Hour 2013 on 23 March 2013 between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.
At the scheduled time, all non‑essential lighting in guestroom corridors and staff areas, as well as all exterior lighting, will be turned off. All guests will be encouraged to join this global event. The hotel has prepared an eye-catching poster recommending minimal use of electrical appliances in guestrooms, including lights, air conditioning and other electronic facilities, to help prepare guests to show their support for environmental protection and energy saving.
