The Oriental at Traders Hotel, Beijing has invited Chef Jimmy Chen from Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Tainan to present authentic and the finest Taiwanese cuisine from 19 August to 1 September 2013.
Chef Jimmy’s dishes will include An Ping Oyster Omelette, Traditional Taiwanese Steamed Pork Sandwiches, Taiwanese-Style Deep-Fried Chicken with Basil, Taiwanese Pineapple Cake and Tainan-Style Deep-Fried “Coffin Toast” with Seafood Filling, Tainan Eel Noodle Soup, and so on.
With over 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Jimmy strives to combine Taiwanese cooking methods perfectly with the complexity of Chinese style presentation. According to him, it is very important to pay attention to the cooking temperature, original ingredients and cooking skills to bring out the traditional taste of dishes. Chef Jimmy supervises every dish presented and served from his kitchen as if it were for his family.
