Pan-seared Glutinous Rice Cake with Ground Peanuts

Ingredients (recipe for one portion)

  • 100g glutinous rice cake
  • 10g egg, beaten
  • 30g cooking oil
  • 10g sugar
  • 20g peanuts, ground
  • 1g white sesame seeds, toasted
  • 10g banana leaves (optional) 

Method 

  1. Coat the rice cake with egg.
  2. Pan-sear two sides till golden brown.
  3. Mix the ground peanuts with sugar and sesame seeds. Coat the rice cake with the peanut mixture.
