Shangri-La
Hotel, Beijing, Presents the Spirit of Christmas
On 3 December 2016, the spirit of Christmas came alive at
Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing, during the annual Tree Lighting ceremony.
On this day, the hotel ushered in the festive cheer of the season
with a house full of Christmas goodies and an indoor bazaar filled with festive
delicacies, sweets, pastries, chocolates, gifts and hampers. Carollers from
Beijing Qiyin Experimental School for the Deaf, hotel guests, media friends and
staff members all joined together to spread holiday cheer. The annual charity
drive featured creative paintings by the hearing-impaired students, which were
sold to raise funds for Beijing Qiyin Experimental School for the
Deaf. All in attendance had a jolly time and were reminded that the best
way to share the true spirit of the season is by giving love from the heart to those
around us.
