With the opening of Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London in the first quarter 2014, Chef Simon will bring to Abu Dhabi nine a la carte menu items, which will be featured in the menu of TĪNG restaurant in the London property.
TĪNG restaurant offers a sumptuous array of locally inspired dishes with an Asian twist, made using some of the freshest produce and crafted with meticulous attention. Highlights include Beetroot with Goats Cheese, Truffle Honey and Pistachio; Lamb with Green Apple, Onion and Porcini; and Crème Brulee with Tonka Bean, Pineapple, Raspberry and Mint.

About Chef Simon Attridge
The former senior sous chef at Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai’s Jade on 36 when it opened in 2005, Simon Attridge returns to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as chef de cuisine of Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London.
Chef Simon joins the hotel from his most recent role as executive head chef at BaxterStorey, where he oversaw the fine-dining outlets and events hospitality for Goldman Sachs’ London offices. Prior to this, he excelled from senior sous chef to executive head chef at Barclays’ global headquarters in Canary Wharf, overseeing all the food and beverage operations across its 31 floors.
Previous roles also include being head chef at Drakes on the Pond, which retained its Michelin-star rating during his tenure, and head chef at Heston Blumenthal’s Riverside Brasserie, where he secured the restaurant a Michelin Bib Gourmand and two AA Rosettes.
